Representative Mark Wiens represents Afton, Baytown Township, Denmark Township, Grant, Lake Elmo, Lake St. Croix Beach, Lakeland, Lakeland Shores, St. Mary’s Point, West Lakeland Township, and northern Cottage Grove.

 

Wiens is a U.S. Army Veteran with 30 years of service, multiple deployments and combat tours with experience leading diverse executive level teams in the pursuit of solving complex issues.

 

Upon retiring from the military, he became involved in the Veteran Community and currently serves on the Executive Board of the WW2 Round Table.  Wiens established the Student Outreach in order to connect the greatest generation to inspire a new generation of Americans. He has been married to Tina Watson, a mental health therapist, for over 30 years. They have two daughters in Stillwater Public Schools, a dog and a cat.
