About Mark Uglem

Representative Mark Uglem is in his third term in the Minnesota House. He represents portions of Champlin and Coon Rapids. 

Before getting involved in local politics, Mark started his own paint-manufacturing firm, the Sierra Corporation, which he eventually sold. He then was a co-founder of Hirshfield’s Paint manufacturing, which grew to be one of the largest coating manufacturers in the state. He served on the planning commissions for both Brooklyn Park and Champlin, was elected to the Champlin City Council, and served as mayor of Champlin for three terms.

Mark and his wife, Pam, live in Champlin.
